River Tubing in Osumi Canyon: The Ultimate Summer Adventure from Berat

River Tubing in Osumi Canyon is what happens when Albania’s most dramatic canyon decides to turn into a water-slide built by geology. Once the water level drops after June, the Osumi River becomes perfect for tubing: calm-enough to relax, lively-enough to laugh, and scenic enough to make your camera work overtime.

11 Thrilling Reasons River Tubing in Osumi Canyon Feels Like Flying

1. A 3-million-year-old canyon as your “track” – You float between towering cliffs that look carved with a sculptor’s patience.

2. Crystal-blue summer water – Clear, refreshing, and made for warm-weather adventures.

3. Zero experience needed – If you can sit, smile, and listen to your guide, you can do it.

9. A summer-only experience – Tubing is the Osumi Canyon “warm season special,” available when the river is right.

10. Two ways to do it – Meet at the base with your own car, or join a full-day package from Berat with transport and lunch.
